This hands-on workshop moves beyond lecture and into practice. You'll construct blueprints that are grounded in the shift from imperative management to declarative management.

Throughout the session, you'll explore how declarative device management changes the way devices receive and apply configurations, including how declarative management shifts reconciliation responsibility to the device itself rather than relying on a server-side command queue. You'll work through simulation-based scenarios covering OS Updates, OS Update Settings, Safari Bookmarks, and Safari Extension management, building declarations into logical, purpose-driven blueprints.

You will be joined by subject matter experts who will offer practical guidance on the migration of existing configurations and demonstrate the practice of creating custom blueprints. 

By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to explain declarative management concepts and apply what you've learned to build blueprints within your own environment right away.
